Personality

The young D'Alvarde was raised on the principle of working hard and staying focused on one's goals, as there's more appreciation for the result when focus and action have been appropriately. Patient and determined, Alvaro will never miss an obligation he devotes himself to. Period. He would rather run himself into the ground than fail to deliver the results he said he would achieve. While loyalty is a strong sentiment for the young inspector, he is not always willing to give it to everyone he comes across -- his weariness of strangers isn't without fault. But because he's grown accustomed to the elements of danger and spontaneity, D'Alvarde excels at handling crises and is often the one looked to for on-the-fly solutions.

Even as a child, Alvaro had a great deal of self-control over his thoughts and feelings. Thus he can come across as insensitive and critical if he the believes someone is not upholding to his standards of control. But he remains a proud repository of knowledge and his quick thinking can apply to a variety of situations and challenges.
